Connie Ostap serves as the Clinical Dietitian for the Saint John Vianney Center. Connie assists in providing nutritious menus and promoting wellness to residents and staff in the facility and assists with the center’s Weight Management and Wellness Program.
Connie provides consultation and nutritional assessments along with medical nutrition education and therapy. Connie reinforces the importance of setting goals, then moving forward with implementation and achievement of those goals for lifelong wellness and healthy living. Connie is available for professional speaking engagements on the topics of Nutrition and Living a Healthy and Balanced Lifestyle.
Ms. Ostap earned her B.S. in Nutrition/Dietetics from Illinois State University and completed an internship at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic. She holds a Certificate in both Weight Management and Obesity Intervention through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Connie brings a wealth of experience from a variety of settings including corporate wellness, classroom education, acute care, long term care, rehabilitative care and her local private practice. She served on the 2006 Archdiocese of Philadelphia Wellness Committee, spearheaded the Saint Philip and James School Health Council (Exton, PA), and has contributed nutrition related tips in local publications such as County Lines Magazine and Hola Chester County.
