Our inter-disciplinary team includes a clinical dietitian to assist Clergy and Religious in their journey to a healthy lifestyle.  Our dietitian works with residents to build a healthy relationship to food, while promoting self-care for long term emotional and physical health.

Kelly

Clinical Dietitian

Kelly Cuetara, MS RD LDN serves as the Clinical Dietitian for the Saint John Vianney Center. In this role, Kelly directs the weight management and wellness program incorporating nutrition, psychology, and exercise components. She consults with residents individually providing medical nutrition therapy, counseling, and education. Kelly assists in coordinating and managing the Center’s Diabetes Education and Weight Management programs. Kelly collaborates with the dietary services of the Center to provide nutritious menus to residents and staff.

Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed her dietetic internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her Master of Science degree from St. Joseph’s University. Kelly is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, holds certificates in Weight Management, Health and Wellness, and Nutrition Counseling from the Academy and Monash University’s FODMAP Course Certificate for the management of IBS.

Bringing over 20 years of experience to the Center, Kelly worked as an outpatient dietitian at Massachusetts General Hospital and started the Outpatient Nutrition Program at Bryn Mawr Hospital. She has also worked in acute care hospitals, long-term care, psychiatric and rehabilitation facilities, addiction and recovery settings. In addition, Kelly trained dietetic interns in both outpatient and long-term care clinical and management settings and provided peer continuing education training to registered dietitians.
