SJVC Celebrates National Catholic Sisters Week

In recognition of National Catholic Sisters Week (NCSW), the Saint John Vianney Center honored its women religious in a special blessing at Mass on March 8, 2017 and commemorated the occasion with a cake at lunch.

NCSW began in 2014 to honor women religious, recognize the special work they have done, and spotlight a time for more young women to learn about vocations. It has since become an annual celebration.

SJVC’s Chaplain, Fr. Dave Brzoska, offered the following blessing for our sisters at SJVC and all women religious, “Sisters, your selflessness and unwaivering commitment and dedication to God and others are an inspiration to all of us. May the Lord continue to direct your paths in his sight, and having guided your hearts, may he grant what your heart’s desire and fulfill all of your dreams. May our almighty God’s blessings be with you, all you love, and all you minister to.
