This year the Saint John Vianney Center was a corporate sponsor for the “Out of the Darkness” Suicide Awareness Walk hosted by the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). On October 1st, Saint John Vianney Center staff, their families and friends walked 3.1 miles in Philadelphia to honor lost loved ones and help raise awareness for mental health. Money raised from the walk is used to create suicide prevention programs and unite those who have been affected by suicide.
