Sister Karen Marie Cote, IHM, Psy.D. serves as a Licensed Psychologist for the Outpatient Program. Her responsibilities include providing psychological assessments and psychotherapy for clergy, deacons, and men and women religious.
Prior to her ministry at the Saint John Vianney Center, Sister Karen served as a staff psychologist at a state hospital in Maine. She earned a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University and an MSW in Clinical Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. While missioned in New Mexico, Sister Karen served as the director of a residential treatment facility for Native American adolescents. She also served as a member of a crisis response team in New Mexico. Sister Karen has 20 years of experience working in the mental health field.
Sister Karen is a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
