J. Gerard O’ Connor serves as the Director of Consultation Services for the Saint John Vianney Center. He is the liaison to diocesan and religious leadership and consults with clergy leadership particularly on the topic of timely and effective intervention.
Gerard is available for professional speaking engagements on the topics of addictions and compulsive behaviors, dealing with difficult personalities, and policies and procedures for clergy personnel.
Gerard has been working with clergy and religious in the area of mental health education, consultation, mediation, and intervention for over 20 years. Previously, Gerard served as Vice Chancellor and Secretary to two Archbishops in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
