The Mental Health America Organization suggests that, while society is getting more comfortable discussing mental health, it can still be hard to know how to take care of your own well-being.
To help make mental health more approachable, MHA recommends:
- Learning how modern life affects mental health and the resources that are available
- Acting by building your coping skills to manage stress, difficult emotions, and challenging situations.
- Advocating to improve mental health for yourself, your friends and family, and your community.
