Many dioceses and religious communities have felt the deep pain of suicide. Out of this shared experience came a desire from leaders across the country to learn how to foster hope and healing. In listening to these needs, Saint John Vianney Center (SJVC) will offer a new and critical educational program specifically for Clergy and Religious leadership around the country throughout the next year. The one-day program, From Silence to Support: Suicide Prevention & Awareness Program, will equip leadership with practical tools and resources, guidance and support, to prevent the risk of suicide in our brothers and sisters.
The program will be led by Deacon Tim Lynch, M.S., Suicide Education and Prevention Manager at SJVC, psychotherapist and certified traumatologist in suicidality.
At the Saint John Vianney Center, our mission is to shepherd those who serve the Church – supporting health in mind, body, and spirit. Together, we are called to strengthen the temple of the Holy Spirit, safeguard lives and vocations, and ensure that no one who serves the Church walks alone.
To learn more about this program, the dates and locations where the program will be held around the country, and how to register, diocesan and religious leadership can email Deacon Tim Lynch at [email protected].
