SJVC Health Fair

The Saint John Vianney Center provided its first ever internal health fair for staff and residents.  Under the direction of Diana Karanja, RN, Director of Nursing for the facility, it was an event sponsored by the Nursing Department with additional participation from fellow departments including Physical and Occupational Therapy, Activities, Dietary, Spiritual Care, Consultation-Education-and-Outreach, Administration and the Employee Appreciation Committee.  The purpose was to offer a special time for everyone to learn about practical every day tips to stay healthy, in addition to learning life saving strategies.  The fair included a blood drive, flu shot clinic, and activities to encompass into your lifestyle to get and stay healthy in mind, body and spirit in addition to learning life saving strategies. Plenty of food and beverages were available to enjoy as well as some fun raffles to win.

The work of Saint John Vianney Center for Clergy and Religious encompasses mind, body, and spirit in all of the services that we offer, including Assessments and Evaluations, Inpatient Treatment, Outpatient Therapy and Counseling, and, Professional Speaking Engagements, as well as being a resource in areas including anxiety, depression, addictions, and personality disorders.
