SJVC Focuses on Suicide Awareness & Prevention

One of the community outreach programs Saint John Vianney Center focuses on each year is for suicide awareness and prevention. Throughout the summer months, staff participate in Friday Funday’s which include a variety of activities while making a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). This summer, Saint John Vianney Center raised $1,125., our highest amount yet!

Our hope is that with more awareness about suicide, it can come “Out of the Darkness” and into the conversation so people can be helped sooner and more lives can be saved. To learn more, visit AFSP.
