Saint John Vianney Center celebrated nurses week to thank the nurses at SJVC who have chosen to make nursing their life’s work. Special recognition was given to one of our nurses who has been practicing for 50 years! Our Chaplain, Fr. Dave Brzoska, did the blessing of the hands. We thank all of our nurses for the patient-centered care they provide our residents. It is through our nursing staff that we are able to provide care to our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
National Nurses Week has been celebrated for over twenty years. Through the American Nurses Association (ANA) celebrations are promoted each year to recognize the contributions that nurses make to the community.
