SJVC Receives Accreditation Renewal by the Joint Commission

The Saint John Vianney Center (SJVC) received re-accreditation as a Behavioral Health Care Organization from The Joint Commission which is nationally recognized as the Gold Seal of Approval in health care. Accreditation is the way The Joint Commission validates organizations who comply with the highest national standards for delivery of safe, high quality care while always moving towards continuous performance improvement.

SJVC had an on-site survey in February 2019. It focused on patient care, personnel and survey of our physical site through the tracer methodology and observation of care. The involvement and collaboration of the SJVC staff was vital to the success of the on-site survey. Staff knowledge of requirements, attention to detail, and quality patient care remain essential to maintaining continuous standards compliance, applying sound management practices, and delivering safe, high quality care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The Saint John Vianney Center first received accreditation from The Joint Commission in 1989 and has since continued to receive triennialre-accreditation.
