Out of the Darkness

SJVC Staff Participate in Suicide Awareness Walk, Philadelphia, Oct 2019

For the 4th year in a row, the Saint John Vianney Center has participated in events to raise awareness for suicide prevention. During the summer months, staff at the Center are invited to partake in Friday Funday events while making a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The events conclude with staff and their families participating in the 3-mile “Out of the Darkness Walk” at the Philadelphia Art Museum which was held on Sunday, October 6, 2019. SJVC was pleased to raise and donate $1,000 to the AFSP this year, a record-breaking amount for the Center.
