Thomas Dragga

Fr. Thomas Dragga serves as a professional consultant for the Saint John Vianney Center providing religious workshops and convocations for Clergy and Religious across the country. Fr. Dragga speaks on topics common to the local priest working within the Presbyterate and young clergy and seminarians, such as how to stay healthy throughout the priesthood.

Fr. Tom Dragga graduated from Borromeo Seminary. Ordained in 1983, he received his M. Div. from St. Mary Seminary and his Doctorate from United Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio. Fr. Dragga joined the Pastoral Theology and Field Education Department of St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology. In July of 1996, he was named the seventh President-Rector of Borromeo Seminary, the undergraduate seminary for the Diocese of Cleveland. He held a joint position as President of the College seminary while continuing to serve as a professor of Pastoral Theology at St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology and an adjunct faculty member of John Carroll University. He continues teaching in the Doctor of Ministry Program as an adjunct Professor of Pastoral Theology for St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology.

Fr. Dragga was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Catholic Education Association where he served as the vice chair and member of the Executive Committee. In 2014, Fr. Dragga was elected President of the National Organization of the Continuing Education of Roman Catholic Clergy. Fr. Dragga is a member of the National Advisory Council for the Saint John Vianney Center. He currently serves as pastor of the Church of the Resurrection in Solon, OH.
