Dr. Hema Babaria serves as a Clinical Psychologist for the Saint John Vianney Center. Her responsibilities include individual and group psychotherapy, as well as psychological assessments.

Over the past decade, Dr. Babaria has worked in India as a Clinical Psychologist with an emphasis on psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychological evaluations. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults throughout her career with varying needs ranging from autistic spectrum disorders to addictions. Since 2016, Dr. Babaria has continued her professional education and experience in the United States where she has employed her psychotherapy skills in college counseling sessions. She has also conducted psychological evaluations in these college settings.

Dr. Babaria earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saurashtra University, India. She earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the Gujarat University, India, and a B.A. in Psychology and Computer Sciences from the St. Xavier’s College of Gujarat University, India.  She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Rutgers University where she completed the necessary requirement hours for licensure as a Psychologist in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Babaria also maintains a private practice in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania working with adolescents and adults.

Areas of clinical interest include phase of life challenges; depression; anxiety; personality disorders; neuropsychological and psychoanalytical understanding of personality and emotions; multi-generational, cultural, and acculturation influences on personality; as well as psychological and neuro-cognitive profiling via evaluation and assessment.
