Mr. Adam Bernstein serves as the Addictions Counselor for the Saint John Vianney Center Co-Occurring Disorder unit. Adam has been on staff at the Saint John Vianney Center since 2003.
After graduating from The Haverford School, he pursued undergraduate studies in psychology and philosophy at Emory University. In 2006 he earned a MA in Counseling Psychology from Rosemont College. He is a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of PA. Areas of clinical focus include substance and behavioral addictions, co-occurring disorders, trauma treatment and recovery, and relapse prevention. In addition, he has extensive training in a variety of relaxation techniques, mindfulness, and meditation.
