Pastoral Care
We are committed to daily expressing our identity as a faith-based provider of health care with integrity to the ethical and religious values of the Roman Catholic Church. We are called to be institutions that share in the healing mission of Jesus Christ which he entrusted to his followers: "I was ill and you cared for me."
For us, health care is both service and ministry, rooted in our belief that every person is a treasure, every life a sacred gift, and every human being a unity of mind, body, and spirit. We respond to the example of Jesus by extending God's healing and compassionate care in a way that fosters healing and promotes wellness for all persons.
We take a "pastoral approach" to all that we do, which means exercising a genuine personal approach to their work, because together we are called to care for the whole person, including his or her physical, psychological, spiritual and moral well-being. Respecting and promoting the inherent dignity of each resident is our highest calling.
