Outpatient Services
By providing high quality psychological and spiritually-integrated services to religious professional men and women, the Outpatient Center of SJVC helps them to continue moving forward toward wholeness and improved effectiveness in ministry. Outpatient services include assessments, individual therapy, psychiatric consultations and medication management, pastoral counseling, group therapy, case management, and consultations. Services are offered on our Downingtown campus from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Additionally, we offer a network of experienced providers who see individual clients in their offices in the metropolitan Philadelphia area with hours determined by the client and therapist.
Our assessment program offers a comprehensive psycho-diagnostic assessment or an individually-tailored assessment to religious professionals or those considering the vocational life of a priest, permanent deacon, seminarian or religious. We welcome clergy of Protestant denominations. We make recommendations about the presenting issues or help gauge compatibility for a specific diocese or religious community. We also re-evaluate individuals who have been previously assessed.
