Director of Nursing
Dave Shellenberger, RN, BSN
David Shellenberger, RN, BSN, is the Director of Nursing Services, responsible for all clinical practice performed by the nursing department. Mr. Shellenberger brings over ten years of nursing administration to staff and residents at Saint John Vianney Center. Serving clergy and religious through health education, wellness promotion and a holistic approach to healing are the foundations of care that Mr. Shellenberger promotes through the Nursing Department. In addition to his primary role, managing the Nursing Department and coordinating medical care, Mr. Shellenberger holds positions as Infection Control and Patient Safety Officer for the hospital.
Mr. Shellenberger received his BSN from York College of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining SJVC, Mr. Shellenberger directed nursing services for Beaumont at Bryn Mawr (Bryn Mawr, PA), a continuing care retirement community. Previously, Mr. Shellenberger also was the Director of Nursing Services of HCR-Manor Care (Pottstown, PA) which specialized in sub-acute rehabilitation, Alzheimer's care, assisted living and long term care.
