Pennsylvania Catholic Health Association (PCHA)
The Pennsylvania Catholic Health Association (PCHA), founded in 1963, is a state-wide organization whose membership is composed of Catholic hospitals, long-term care facilities, multi-facility health systems and other related health care entities, sponsoring religious congregations, and dioceses. Saint John Vianney Center has been a member for over 15 years.
Catholic Health Association of the United States of America (CHAUSA)
The people and organizations of the Catholic health ministry in the United States join together in the Catholic Health Association. A vital expression of the ministry since 1915, CHA exists to support and strengthen the Catholic health ministry in the United States, seeking to achieve a vision that is inspired by Biblical justice and informed by the Catholic Church's social teaching tradition. SJVC maintains an active membership in the association benefiting from the many educational offerings.
Pennsylvania Community Providers Association (PCPA)
The Pennsylvania Community Providers Association (PCPA) is a trade association whose members are community agencies serving persons with mental illness, mental retardation, or substance abuse. SJVC has maintained a membership to stay current with behavioral health trends, services and issues.
Catholic Health Care Services
Catholic Health Care Services offers various senior living options and services throughout the Philadelphia area. Catholic Health Care Services, part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, has been serving those in need of care since the Sisters of Bon Secours opened the doors of St. Francis Country House in Darby to serve "convalescing new mothers" in 1913. It now consists of six skilled nursing care centers, two assisted living facilities, and two independent living communities.
The Joint Commission
According to their website, approximately 88 percent of the nation's hospitals (including critical access hospitals) are currently accredited by The Joint Commission. Saint John Vianney Center participates in an accreditation survey process that covers compliance with the standards and other requirements and verifies improvement activities. After earning accreditation, health care organizations receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™, a mark of quality.

Department of Health
In the past 103 years, the Department of Health's mission has evolved to include not only preventing disease, but also promoting healthy behaviors and improving the quality of health care. The Department of Health licenses the beds annually at Saint John Vianney Center.
Department of Public Welfare
Saint John Vianney Center has maintained licensure and certifications with both the PA Department of Public Welfare as a psychiatric hospital and licensure with the Department of Health for addictions licensure as well as certifications in maintaining the facility.
Guest House
Saint John Vianney Center has a long-standing collaborative relationship with Guest House, a national leader in the treatment of substance abuse, based out of Rochester and Lake Orion, Michigan. In the last few years both program have combined their resources to create a new unit for a co-occurring disorders (behavioral health and substance abuse) unit at Saint John Vianney Center in response to the request by many religious and clergy leaders request to address this growing need for concentrated and integrated treatment.
